Grower Stories
During the UK growing season, our Spinach is sourced from our British Farms which are located on the Norfolk Coast.
With the farm’s coastal location, the sea air warms the crop in the spring and keeps it cool in the summer, this coupled with long daylight hours, fertile and consistent soils enables us to grow a stronger, more robust leaf.
In the winter months, we move our sourcing to Europe where milder climate allows Spinach to grow to the same high standards.
Spinach starts its life from carefully selected seeds sown in fertile soil, grown and supported by the right mix of water, sunlight, temperature and time.
As the leaves develop, our growers closely monitor the crop and conditions to promote healthy growth, rich green colouration and strong, resilient plants.
Throughout each stage in our growing and harvest process quality is the highest priority.
Fields are inspected regularly and only the best crop is selected to be harvested, with crop being checked for freshness, texture and colour.
From seed to harvest, our careful, quality-centred, approach delivers high quality Spinach all year round.
