Free…. The Chia Co. Chia Seeds In Baby Spinach & Baby Kale Bags

September 14, 2015

This week we launch ‘Free Chia Co. Chia seed shots in Fresh & Naked Baby Kale and Spinach’. So what are Chia seeds? Chia seeds are one of the world’s oldest sources of nutrition, dating back to 3500BC. Chia seeds offer the highest combined plant source of omega-3, fibre, protein, and a range of minerals and antitoxins.

There are many health benefits to eating Chia seeds. Type 2 diabetics have found eating Chia seeds reduced their morning blood glucose levels as well as glucose levels after dinner. It is claimed that Chia seeds can help with weight loss as the seeds expand in the belly making you feel full therefore eating less during the day.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for healthy skin. Chia seeds have the highest natural source of omega-3. The fatty acid benefits your skin by helping to strengthen cell membrane barriers that allow water and nutrients in while keeping toxins out.

All the minerals in Chia seeds also help to harden nails and to encourage hair and skin cell growth. According to ‘Chia Co’ you will notice the improvements in your skin, hair and nails within days.

Find out more about Chia on our Chia Co. Page and get some more great recipe ideas!

Going Underground!

June 1, 2015

KALE Stork

June is shaping up to be a really exciting month for team fresh & naked.

Through the month of June if you are travelling on the London Underground, lookout for our fresh & naked ad’s which will be featuring in stations across Zones 1 & 2. If you send us a pic via email, twitter or Facebook, we will send you one of our funky F&N thermos mugs…..

If you are not in London, you can also see our ads in some of the leading foodie magazines or check them out on our Facebook page. We had a lot of fun making them, so as always, let us know what you think.

The UK season is now well under way and all our little leaves are growing up nicely, all we need now is a little bit more sun and its happy salad eating weather!
